Every journey has a starting point, and mine began in 2018 with a Cricut machine that was gifted to me.

I had zero big business plans. I just wanted to make my own coffee cups because I’ve always been obsessed with finding the perfect mug — the cute ones, the funny ones, the ones that somehow make that first sip of coffee even better. Instead of buying more, I figured I’d try making my own.

What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into something more.

After playing around with cups and small projects, I tried making phone grippies and eventually took a leap and opened a shop on Etsy. My little shop grew faster than I expected. I became a top-tier seller while maintaining a 5-star rating, and seeing people all over enjoy something I made by hand was honestly the coolest feeling.

Eventually I realized I wanted something more — a space where I could build my brand my way, with my own rules and my own vision.

So I built my own website.

Now Made by Kati is more than just a shop. It’s a space for creativity, healing, and sharing the journey that all started with a Cricut machine and a love for coffee mugs.

And honestly… this is still just the beginning.
